About
Olha Denysova is a Ukrainian ceramic artist and the founder of Glay Studio based in Lausanne.
Her artistic journey has been deeply shaped by the transformations brought about by the war in Ukraine and by her personal exploration of creative freedom and self-expression.
In her work, she explores the connection between humans and nature, and the process of returning to oneself through the tactile dialogue with clay. In the act of shaping, Olha finds a state of presence, calm, and inner strength.
Her ceramic pieces are distinguished by soft, organic lines and a sense of gentle movement, reflecting themes of transformation, impermanence, and the beauty of the moment.
